We collect information you provide when you use the Service, including:

• Account details, such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo and account role.
• Customer job details, including service category, job description, budget, preferred timing, address or location, and job photos.
• If you choose voice-to-job input, the spoken words used to create an editable job draft. TradeTrail does not store an audio recording; the resulting transcript is handled as job-detail text if you choose to use it.
• Business profile details, including business name, service category, address, website, contact information, service radius, availability and business images.
• Business verification information, such as ABN or ACN details, trade-licence details and supporting identity or licence documents supplied for verification.
• Quotes, quote decisions, job milestones, reviews, ratings, messages and message attachments exchanged through the marketplace.
• Safety and support information, including reports, blocks and correspondence with our support team.
• Technical and usage information generated when you use the Service, such as device and app information, diagnostic data and security signals used to operate and protect the Service.

We use information to operate and improve TradeTrail, including to:

• Create and manage accounts, authenticate sign-in and provide customer support.
• Publish jobs, match local businesses with relevant leads, enable quotes and support quote comparison, acceptance, milestones and completion tracking.
• Enable marketplace messages and send transactional notifications about job responses and messages.
• Display business profiles, reviews, ratings, availability and verification status to help users make informed decisions.
• Review business verification submissions and help prevent fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct and other violations of our terms.
• Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, analyse usage and comply with legal obligations.

TradeTrail is a marketplace, so some information is shared to enable a job or quote:

• When a customer posts a job, businesses using TradeTrail may see the job details, service category, location, timing, budget and job photos needed to assess the lead.
• When a customer sends a direct quote request or a business responds to a job, the other participant can see the relevant request, quote, profile information and messages.
• Business profile information, business images, service details, reviews, ratings and public verification status may be visible to people browsing TradeTrail.
• Verification documents and sensitive verification details are not public. They are used for verification and may be accessed by authorised Cistem Code personnel and service providers supporting that process.

Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in a job, quote, review or message.

We use service providers to help operate TradeTrail. Depending on the features you use, these may process information on our behalf for cloud hosting and authentication, data and file storage, email delivery, maps or address search, analytics, crash reporting and security. When you use voice-to-job input, the speech-recognition service provided by your device operating system or browser may process your audio to create the transcript.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the safety, rights or property of users or others, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

You can request permanent account deletion from the account settings in the TradeTrail app or website. Deletion removes your account and associated marketplace data, including your profile, business profile, verification records, jobs, relevant quotes, conversations, reviews, reports, blocks and uploaded files, subject to limited information we may need to retain where required by law or for security and fraud prevention.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password, keep your account credentials private and report suspected misuse promptly.

You can update many account and business-profile details in the Service. You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, or to ask a privacy question. If you receive promotional email from us, you can use the unsubscribe instructions in that email. Transactional messages about your account or marketplace activity may still be sent where needed to provide the Service.

TradeTrail is not directed to children. Do not create an account or provide personal information if you are under the minimum age required to use the Service in your location. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date.
